COMING SOON
December 2025
I’m so excited to announce my brand-new children’s book,
Bayou Babies and the Big Sneaux Day!
Set in the heart of the bayou, this sweet story captures the magic of a rare southern "sneaux." Follow Nicole, Rose, Alexander, and their loyal pup Nola as they discover what happens when a whisper about a once-in-a-hundred-year storm turns into an unforgettable family adventure.
This book is filled with warmth, wonder, and that special Louisiana charm. It’s about more than sneauxflakes. It’s about family, joy, and the way little moments can become cherished memories.
Perfect for cozy storytimes, Bayou Babies and the Big Sneaux Day will make you laugh, smile, and maybe even wish for a sneaux day of your own!
Stay tuned for pre-order information and the official launch—coming very soon!

About The AUthor
A homeschooling mama, military spouse, and storyteller who believes the world is a classroom.
When I’m not teaching science experiments or jotting down lesson plans, I’m dreaming up adventures for the Bayou Babies — stories filled with laughter, wonder, and that special Southern kind of magic. (And yes… that’s your hint there are more Bayou Babies stories to come!)
As a mom of three, I’ve learned that every day holds a bit of surprise — sometimes it’s a messy science project, sometimes it’s a lesson in patience, and sometimes, if you’re lucky, it’s twelve inches of sneaux falling in the Deep South! My journey into homeschooling began unexpectedly, but grew into a passion for nurturing curiosity, creativity, and the joy of learning together.
When I’m not writing or teaching, I share our family’s stories and the beautiful chaos of home life over on my blog, Southern Grace: Home, Heart, and Homeschooling, where the beautiful chaos of family life, the joys and challenges of homeschooling, and the art of finding grace in everyday moments come together.
My hope is that through the Bayou Babies — and the adventures still to come — children will learn to see life’s little surprises, laugh at the wobbly moments, and know that even when the world feels cold,
kindness, creativity, and love can warm any heart.
